The SIGIT, with their exhilarating mixture of hard rock music, is often compared to bands such as Wolfmother and Datsuns, even being dubbed as the Indonesian answer to Wolfmother by an Australian media. The group recently released a new single after seven years since their last album.
Japanese-Indonesian composer, singer-songwriter, and producer Mondo Gascaro is known for his calming music with majestic melodies that bring listeners into his songs. Formerly known as the founding member of the band Sore, Mondo has composed music for notable Indonesian films and recently received a Piala Citra for Best Music Director in December 2019.
Formed in 2017, Irama Pantai Selatan consists of Arief Fauzan and Sigit Ezra. This ukulele duo performs a music genre self-dubbed as maritime pop, or pop with an ocean theme. Their musical style is influenced by Indonesian music in the 50s and 60s, including the likes of Bing Slamet and Oslan Husein.
